Must-Have: Scrub experience is highly preferred. Clienttion badge required. Candidates must have two supervisory references from the modality submitted.

Description: Unit requires candidates to meet specific prescreening criteria. Candidates must not have been directly employed by any facility associated within the past year. Candidates employed PRN through outside firms may be considered. A dysphagia exam is required prior to signing the contract. The exam must be completed within 24-48 hours and is pass or fail. They will have two attempts to pass the exam. Scrub experience is desirable for the role. Candidates will be asked about their scrub experience and the types of cases they scrubbed. Shifts are from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, including required call. Call requirements include one night per week and up to every other weekend. The unit has three rooms and handles approximately 3,000 cases per year. Common diagnoses include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. Procedures performed include TAVR and Mitraclip, with some peripheral vascular work. The facility is a chest pain center accredited and a tertiary referral center for STEMI. Additional procedures include Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Balloon Pump. Cancellation policies allow up to four shift cancellations per 13-week assignment. The charting system utilized is Cerner. Weekend and holiday requirements may apply. Hospital and pharmacy services are available 24/7. There is an IV team available 24/7.
