Process Control Engineer

Duration: 24 months

Note: Hybrid role 2 from home 3 days in office or all 5 in office- Corporate HQ Allentown will travel 40% across various facilities within US.

Position Summary:

The Process Controls Engineer position focuses on executing projects to maintain and improve automated control systems within operating facilities. The position will be responsible for executing projects that include instrumentation and control device selection, PLC and DCS system design, installation checkout, and system commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering project team and production staff.
• Implement system expansions and obsolescence replacement projects.
  • Allen Bradley PLC5 upgrades to CLX5000
  • Allen Bradley SLC500 upgrades to CLX5000
  • Siemens PCS7 HMI version upgrade and Controller Upgrades
  • TIA Portal version upgrades to v20
• Travel to site locations for installation checkout and system commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Control Engineering or related field.
• Experience with automated control systems.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel 20%-40%, mainly in the Americas, mostly US domestic (East to West Coast).
