Make a difference as a Physical Therapist supporting students in an educational setting near Peoria, AZ! This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload across multiple campuses, helping students achieve their mobility and participation goals within the school environment.

You’ll manage a manageable caseload of 8 students, providing direct hands-on therapy as well as collaborating with educators and families. Sessions average about 415 minutes each month, spread across approximately 5 billable hours weekly (including travel and documentation time). Your expertise will be valued as you serve students at four distinct campus locations, ensuring that each child receives personalized and effective physical therapy support.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Arizona (or eligible for licensure)
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to tailor interventions to an educational context
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple campus sites

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group-based physical therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment as needed
• Accurately document services and progress in compliance with school and state regulations
• Attend team meetings and participate in student planning as necessary
