Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Clinton Township, MI on Day Shift. Position available Sunday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and Monday through Wednesday 1:00 pm-12:00 pm. Essential Functions Operate forklift or hand truck to move, convey or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas. Comply with all quality standards and policies. Maintain a clean and safe work area—including cleaning/maintaining equipment, work areas, and performing safety inspections. Shipping Accurately pick, pack and ship parts to support quick turnaround of orders. Fill orders by removing correct parts from shelves, identifying part numbers and proper quantity. Determine method of shipment and pack accordingly. Count, weigh, measure or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications. Receiving Receive and unpack merchandise and supplies and verify accuracy of deliveries. Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials. Confirm proper location of merchandise. Ensure production area organization and cleanliness. Stock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations. Required Qualifications Knowledge typically obtained with a high school or equivalent diploma. Must have dependable attendance and be a team player. Prior forklift certification or willingness to become forklift certified. Basic computer skills helpful. Prior warehouse experience is a plus. Working Conditions Job duties require frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, balancing and use of arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp and move a variety of materials. Walkways are concrete and/or metal grating. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently. Exposure to high, precarious places possible. Environment may be hot (or cold) and dusty. Compensation The anticipated pay range for this position is $16.00 to $21.00 . The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent on the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
