Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - CVORT

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a hospital CVOR unit requiring NBSTSA certification and prior travel experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR CST experience with prior travel experience, or 3 years of OR CST experience without travel experience
• NBSTSA certification required; no other certifications accepted
• License required if applicable
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Vaccination status required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Hospital CVOR unit assignment
• Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (schedule may change)
• Call requirements apply
• 13-week assignment length
• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures within the CVOR setting
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during the assignment, or at least 1 of 2 holidays if only two occur
• Former permanent staff or travelers at this facility must be separated for at least 1 year before returning
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; RTO submitted after an offer will not be honored
• Local candidates not accepted; must live at least 100 miles from the facility
