About the Role:
Join Isite Technologies Inc as a Cyber Command Vulnerability Management Specialist in Albany, NY, where you will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital assets. This exciting position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity measures.
Responsibilities:
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact to the organization.
Develop and implement remediation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
Monitor security alerts and incidents, providing timely responses and escalations.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices.
Maintain documentation of vulnerability management processes and findings.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to enhance vulnerability management efforts.
Participate in security training and awareness programs for staff and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of experience in vulnerability management or cybersecurity roles.
Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
Proficient in risk assessment and management practices.
Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) preferred.
Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
