Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel 18 weeks to provide winter coverage, 13 weeks also accepted at this time! Day shift, 3 -12 hour shifts, 7am-730pm Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Must have 18 months perm MS/Tele PRIOR to travel. MUST HAVE PERM OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE IN HAND AHA BLS & ACLS required, MUST be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start *ONE recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for are REQUIRED to qualify for submission. Charge RN refs accepted! ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required Qualivis – Lotus will be used for submitting hours worked Shift Information: Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00 19:30 Travel Compliance: Tier3 Travel Compliance PLEASE USE ALL BELOW SUB REQUIREMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Standard Qualivis Cover Sheet completed and filled in All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission Travelers may only be submitted for 1 job at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System Experience: 18 months’ combined perm experience in specialty applying for required (preferred to be within one location but not required) Must have a PERMANENT Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission. *One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for are REQUIRED to qualify for submission. Please no co-worker references, these will not be considered, and profile will be rejected. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Required certifications need to be ACTIVE and in hand at time of submission – will not accept anything pending. Locals accepted at same BR PBDS Assessment is waived. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass, otherwise will be canceled. BG hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but will not accept any traveler with an open case Facility does not accept any license hits. Nurses and CSTs are EXEMPT from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements. Exemption is temporary and will be honored until further notice. All other travelers (aside from Nurses and CSTs) MUST BE NICOTINE FREE - Negative 10 Panel Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. Must be updated annually. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date. IMPORTANT - BCI/FBI prints are time Sensitive - Must completed within 48 Hours of signing contract. Extensions: Candidates may extend with client for a period of 18 months; after which a 6 month break is required. Client may choose to defer the required 6 month break on a case by case basis. Please reach out to the Account Manager if Client approval is needed Annual Hands On Competency Requirement: Travel Candidates who are nurses who remain on a continuous contract with Client for a minimum of 1- year, or who return on a contract in the subsequent calendar year, are required to complete Cleveland Clinic Nursing Education Annual Hands-On Competency if they attended Cleveland Clinic Nursing Agency Orientation during the prior calendar year. Travel Candidates who do not complete this requirement will be considered non-compliant and removed from the schedule until the Hands-on- Competency is completed. Modules: 4 hours of modules are billable, any additional time required for pre-start modules is non-billable. Average 6-15 hours of modules Modules are completed pre-start and annually, and time needed varies by specialty Annual modules are billable for up to 4 hours; this only pertains to annual modules required by the facility and applies to travelers who have been on contract for a continuous year.
