Summary:

**Job Requirements & Qualifications for Akron General Hospital - NICU RN:** - Must have a minimum of 18 months recent NICU experience. - Must have 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for. - Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. - AHA BLS certification is required. - *Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. - Required certifications need to be active with nothing pending. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both assessments. - BG hits of any kind are reviewed, but the facility will not accept any traveler with an open case. - Facility does not accept any license hits. - COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines are required; medical/religious exemptions are only exceptions. - Compliance with the Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually.
