Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Fremont, CA

Embark on a rewarding summer assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with students in an engaging school-based environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for SLPs passionate about making an impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. Two positions are available to provide direct services to children, helping them meet personal and educational goals.


Schedule runs from June 15th through July 17th, with a commitment of 25 hours per week plus an additional hour each Wednesday for team meetings. You'll collaborate with a dedicated staff and enjoy an environment focused on student progress and success.


Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
• Experience providing speech-language services in schools, particularly with pediatric populations
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices within school settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students as part of the ESY program
• Develop and implement IEP-driven intervention plans
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings every Wednesday to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators to maximize student outcomes
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
