Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for post-surgical patients in a specialized surgical unit
- Care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies in an ENT-focused environment
- Support patients undergoing general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN
- Proficiency in caring for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
- Experience in ENT, head and neck, or bariatric surgical nursing
- Familiarity with post-operative care protocols for complex surgical patients
- Opportunity to work in a specialized, high-acuity surgical unit with a diverse patient population
