Do you light up when a machine challenge hits the floor? Can you read a schematic, zero in on the fault, and bring a line back faster than downtime can snowball? If so, you’ll feel at home supporting precision metal manufacturing for dental instruments in this contract-to-hire role with multiple shift options.
What Impact Looks LikeYour independent troubleshooting keeps production humming. You’ll combine sharp diagnostics with disciplined preventive maintenance so teams hit their targets—and patients downstream receive reliable dental instruments.
Where You’ll Plug In- Run rapid diagnostics and resolve electrical and mechanical issues on production machinery.
- Adjust, repair, and replace components to return equipment to spec.
- Inspect equipment routinely to identify wear and emerging failure modes.
- Execute and support PMs on production assets and facility systems.
- Jump on urgent issues to minimize downtime and protect throughput.
- Leverage schematics, prints, and OEM manuals to guide decisions.
- Support pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and components.
- Capture work history and parts usage in a CMMS.
- Operate autonomously with minimal supervision; communicate clearly at shift handoff.
- Champion safety—especially LOTO—and maintain an orderly workspace.
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
- Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skill set.
- Ability to diagnose faults and perform corrective repairs.
- Comfort reading schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Self-starter mindset with a focus on production needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- CMMS experience for documentation and planning.
- Technical maintenance coursework or certification.
- Hourly rate: $28.00–$34.00
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Openings on 1st and 2nd shift
