Come join our growing team!The OpportunityThe Area Maintenance Manager will lead a team of 15 - 20 maintenance personnel in an area of the facility. They will ensure the availability and durability of equipment in their sector while optimizing maintenance costs and energy in a continuous improvement approach. This should allow Operations to achieve the critical goals of Safety, Quality, Cost and Production.What Will You DoSafety requirements are prioritized and ensured at all times (personnel and equipment)The maintenance strategy is applied to equipment criticalityMaintenance plans are implemented, to include effective reaction to breakdowns and proactive work on machinery to improve control of the process (reliability).Effectiveness of machine interventions is continuously optimized (The analysis of maintenance results is ensured and implementation of necessary actions to ensure continuous progress over short- and medium-term horizons)Maintenance cost is optimized: operational efficiency, energy and spare parts consumptionThe steps and tools of MMW (Michelin Manufacturing Way) are mastered to drive reliability progressThe reliability of equipment is ensured, in particular by dealing with obsolescence casesResources are adapted (competency and quantity), training and succession plans are created and carried outWhat Will You Bring3-5 years prior maintenance management experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience preferredProven leadership of teams, with examples of facilitating progressTechnical degree is a plus but equivalent experience is consideredWillingness to work in a manufacturing environmentProven record of development of people through coaching, mentoring, and establishment of development plansReady to Shape the Future of Innovation?Michelin is building a world-leading manufacturer of life-changing composites and experiences.
