Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in telemetry for a Cardiac Medical Unit located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care on a cardiac step-down unit that manages patients with various cardiac conditions. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, with every other weekend, on a four-week shift rotation
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of New Hampshire, proficient in telemetry, certification in Advanced Life Support (ASLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), no minimum experience required
• Unit Specifics: Cardiac step-down from CSSU and IVCU, telemetry, stroke overflow, specific procedures include thoracentesis, peritoneal dialysis (PD), tracheostomy (Trachs), pacemakers, cardiac catheterizations, and CIWA protocols
• Certifications Required: ASLS, BLS
• Additional Information: Candidates should be familiar with Meditech Expanse electronic documentation, and unit policies and guidelines should be attached with application. Consideration given for staff with tenured experience, familiarity with new equipment or technology, and scheduling flexibility.
