DCH Project Manager 3Seeking a qualified candidate to serve full-time on a contract basis as a Project Manager for the CMO Procurement and Implementation Project. The qualified candidate must work efficiently and effectively and possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. The candidate will work under a Senior Project Manager, but will have defined responsibilities and areas of specialty. Information technology and technical skills and experience implementing technical or other complex, multi-stakeholder projects will be useful. Experience with process automation and administrative simplification will be helpful. Extensive understanding of project management principles, methods and techniques is necessary.Duties & Responsibilities:Support project manager with assigned project management tasks and follow leadership directivesManage multiple project tasks on a day-to-day basis and all aspects of related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectivesReport on project success criteria, outcomes and results metrics, test and deployment management activitiesWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellencePrepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of a project including project schedules and roadmapsProvide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership groups and stakeholders including management and third parties.Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business process needs and assist with coordination between CMO project and other enterprise projects and initiatives including MEST Program projects, Enterprise Data Management project, data governance, administrative simplification, and business process automation initiatives.Work collaboratively with business owners to identify gaps and areas of concern and document for solution.Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practicesManage project scope and changesSupport vendor selection and proposal evaluation processAct as an internal quality control check for the projectAssist in develop and delivery of progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations, statements of work to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, senior management, and key stakeholdersEnsure that projects and program are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standardsMonitor and Manage project issues and risksOther duties as assignedRequirements Qualifications/ Preferred Qualifications:BA or BS in Management, Health Administration, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is preferredAt least 3 years of experience in management of complex project procurement and implementationsProject Management Professional (PMP)® Certification requiredExperience in SDLC methodologies, Agile, Iterative, WaterfallStrong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business areasProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellenceExcellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsDocumented experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budgetExperience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentFlexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesTechnically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Project, but also project management and SDCL software toolsAdept at conducting research into project-related issues and productsSupport diverse and inclusive work environmentDemonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
