Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Building Automation Controls Sales Executive in the Sacramento area to grow revenue by developing and managing key accounts in the commercial building automation market.
Impact
- Open new business with mechanical contractors, general contractors, and owners across the region.
- Build relationships that bring repeat work and referrals.
- Expand the company's presence in controls.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategies to win new customers and grow existing accounts.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
- Estimate controls projects and prepare accurate proposals.
- Build relationships with contractors, facility managers, and owners.
- Visit sites to assess needs and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate with engineering and project management for a clean handoff.
Must-Haves
- Building automation or controls sales experience with a record of closing.
- Ability to estimate controls scopes and write proposals.
- Relationships in the Sacramento-area construction community.
Nice-to-Haves
- Technical background as a controls technician or engineer.
- Experience selling to public sector and institutional owners.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Based in the Sacramento area.
