Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all production operations within a 24/7 chemical manufacturing environment. This role provides leadership across safety, compliance, quality, productivity, and cost control while managing production staff, schedules, and resources. The Production Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, fosters a high-performing workforce, and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable manufacturing operations Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives Foster a strong culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement Manage and develop a multi-shift production team, including supervisors, leads, and technical staff Oversee production scheduling, labor allocation, and resource utilization Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and other departments to ensure reliable operations Qualifications and Education 5+ years of leadership experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar industrial environment 10+ years of personnel management experience in a production or plant setting Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams Strong commitment to safety with working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standards Experience interpreting P&IDs, technical drawings, and process documentation Solid understanding of chemical processing equipment and manufacturing systems Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or related discipline preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
