Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract - Long Term)

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid/Onsite)
Pay: $30/hour

About the Opportunity

LHH is partnering with a growing organization to add a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to their team on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong billing and collections experience who thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

This position focuses on operational billing and collections, requiring close collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and timely cash collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume billing through multiple platforms, including portals and email
  
• Partner with internal field teams to track and validate billable events
  
• Support and drive collections efforts, including research, follow-up, and escalation
  
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure timely payment
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency and processes
  
• Navigate and manage workflows across imperfect systems and ambiguous data environments
  

Qualifications
Required

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections
  
• Proven experience in high-volume billing environments
  
• Strong collections experience, including research and escalation
  
• Operational, process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency
  
• Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
  

Preferred

• Background as a Staff Accountant with billing exposure
  
• Experience working across multiple systems or platforms
