What You Will Do We are looking for a full‑time Design Engineer to join our growing Orlando team. This position will design structural systems for a variety of construction types in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial, industrial, and parking. Responsibilities Work directly with Project Manager/Engineer of Record in the development of project design, calculations, and assessment reports. Perform analysis of existing structures. Develop drawings or specifications for use during construction and ensure all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations. Assist in project coordination and meetings with internal and external team members. Review project submittals and shop drawings. Visit projects during construction to learn construction practices and provide on‑site construction observation. Organize field data to facilitate analysis and problem solving. Interact with higher level engineers and design technicians. Attend client, architect, and contractor meetings. Learn to engage with potential clients to expand business relationships. Perform calculations per design specifications and industry standards. Utilize structural design software, such as RAM Structural Systems, ETBAS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and TEKLA. Share information across all disciplines to confirm deliverables are compliant with client expectations and established quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with 1‑3 years of related experience or Master’s in Civil Engineering. Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD. EIT preferred. Skills And Competencies Strong communication skills required. Self‑starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision; willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
