A leading civil self-perform GC in Central Florida is looking for an experienced claims professional to own their risk and claims function end-to-end. The company runs a large fleet, significant field headcount, and high claim volume. Right now every decision escalates to senior leadership. This hire takes ownership of that. What you'll own All active claims across workers comp, GL, auto fleet, equipment, and utility strikes Settle-vs-fight decisions, with real autonomy as trust is established Annual insurance renewal and day-to-day broker and carrier relationships Field incident response protocols A small in-office team, reporting to the CFO What we're looking for 10+ years in claims with strong exposure to construction-related types Commercial adjuster or senior claims handler background - insurance-side candidates are actively encouraged to apply Management experience and the ability to build process, not just execute it For those coming from the carrier side: the key shift is protecting your own company, not a client's result!
