Quality Inspector - Hiring Now An electronic component manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Inspector in Norcross, GA. This is a contract to hire opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience working in quality in electronics manufacturing. Pay Rate of the Quality Inspector:$22/hr Shift of the Quality Inspector:
Monday through Thursday. The hours are somewhat negotiable but needs to be starting later in the morning, around 10:00AM. Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
- Conduct measurements, testing, and documentation of inspection results.
- Identify and document nonconforming products.
- Review and verify reworked products meet quality standards.
- Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production teams.
- Enter inspection data into ERP systems and maintain quality records.
- Support continuous improvement and cross-functional quality initiatives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT, or microelectronic packaging.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600 standards.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
