Minimum Qualifications:
- BLS from American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Mental Health Technician or similar credential.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in shift report by listening actively and clarifying patient care instructions with Charge Nurse.
- Monitors and records vital signs (TPR, height, weight, I&O and BP) accurately and within time frames.
- Attends to the Activities of Daily Living of patients by assisting and/or supervising.
- Serves Meals, monitoring and recording dietary habits.
- Intervenes as appropriate with dietary needs and records intake of form, as instructed.
