Training and Development Specialist

Job Description

EverStaff is seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to support a highly respected firm. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering firmwide training initiatives that align with strategic goals and support both attorneys and staff across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement firmwide training and professional development programs
• Assess organizational training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultation with leadership
• Create and implement a comprehensive training program for Legal Administrative Assistants
• Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging training sessions using adult-learning principles
• Develop training materials including manuals, guides, presentations, and e-learning modules
• Evaluate external training resources and recommend effective solutions
• Enhance and manage the firm's New Hire Orientation program
• Oversee the firm's Learning Management System (LMS) and training databases
• Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, enrollment tracking, cost monitoring, and reporting
• Measure training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
• 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering structured training programs
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems and training technologies
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
