Our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture puts people first through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.50 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and the reporting of unusual conditions or policy concerns.Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.Be able to work in a hospital morgue.Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Florida State Security Agency License No. B8500287Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
