Job Description
Job Title: IR Tech (Neuro Specialist)

Experience: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology with a neuro focus
License: OH Rad license required
Certifications: ARRT certified, BLS required


Must-Have:
Effective monitoring skills
Experience in carotid angiography
Ability to perform embolization procedures
Proficient in operating imaging equipment and maintaining sterile fields
Experience with various interventional radiology techniques


Description:
This position requires a dedicated individual with expertise in neurointerventional radiology.
The candidate will work in a Level II trauma facility providing urgent interventional care.
Typical case volumes range from 6 to 8 per day, involving common procedures such as angiography and carotid stenting.
Candidates must be able to manage equipment setup and perform EKG lead placements.
Knowledge of vascular closure systems is essential.
This role includes on-call responsibilities for one weeknight each week and every third weekend.
Team collaboration is key, with staffing typically comprising several RTs and RNs per shift.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong skills in patient assessment and the recognition of life-threatening situations.
The ability to work with interdisciplinary teams is vital for delivering high-quality patient care.
