System Administrator with Security Clearance

Job Responsibilities Monitor and maintain computer configurations and performance in a VMware virtual environment. Perform Operating System and hardware troubleshooting in bare-metal and virtual environments. Work with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and support systems in a 24x7 operating environment. Provide IT support to new system developments and system upgrades. Perform system backups and maintain system reconstitution capabilities and procedures. Develop and implement scripts to monitor, improve and/or automate system performance and maintainability. Maintain system documentation, configuration documents, user guides and troubleshooting procedures. Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours. Full time 100% Onsite position. Basic Qualifications Typically requires a bachelor's degree; if no degree must have 6 years of experience. Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Must have a Current TS/SCI CI Poly transferable U.S. government issued prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have Linux experience. Experience with administering virtual systems. Must have a current DODI 8570.01-M IAT Level II (or higher) certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Networking. Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
