Job Duties

• Load and unload items into and out of company vehicles.
• Open, empty, and sort the contents of cotton drawstring bags into larger containers with care for reuse and recycling.
• Prepare shipments by loading boxes into trucks.
• Work safely outdoors in all weather and temperature conditions.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
• Drive company vehicles (primarily high-roof cargo vans) to complete member pickups, bin deliveries, and other service needs.
• Use smartphone tools (GPS, Ridwell Fleet app, communication tools) to manage routes, pickups, and deliveries.
• Report discrepancies and communicate route timing issues to Fleet Support.
• Flex into extra stops when needed to support the team.
• Deliver bins and bags to new members and explain Ridwell's service during onboarding.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned to support warehouse and driving operations.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to read and follow written or oral instructions in English.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must own and be able to use a smartphone and Google or Apple maps.
• Ability to be on your feet or on a van route all day.
• Ability to communicate effectively digitally over text message and email.
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid CA driver's license and be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, and lift up to 49 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school, GED, or equivalent diploma.
• Must be available to work Monday and Wednesday and as needed.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle history check if offered the position.
