Outpatient TherapistMain Office - Wilkes Barre, PA 18702Purpose of this PositionChildren's Service Center and the Robinson Counseling Center for Adults is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well independently and collectively with other team members. Licensure (LCSW/LPC) is preferred for this position. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to lead, the Outpatient Therapist position provides services that include diagnostic bio-psycho social assessments, individual, group and family therapy, substance abuse screenings, trauma exposure screenings, domestic violence screenings, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, medication assessments and medication monitoring. The Outpatient Therapist serves children, adolescents, families and adults who might have difficulty functioning in their community, home, or school.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices, and methodologyKnowledge of individual and group dynamicsUtilization of a variety of modalities and techniques to address the needs of each client and their familyChildren's Service Center/Robinson Counseling Center for adults creates a positive working culture of Care and Commitment for employees which extends to the children & families we serve.
