Aya Pastry, located in West Town, is a wholesale and retail bakery that offers a creative take on signature breads along with celebratory cakes, whimsical sweets, and breakfast pastries. Our mission is to spread smiles by sharing our crave-worthy treats. Qualification: 2 years or more experience in pastry production Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of all food safety standards (must have Illinois' food handler's certificate Ability to lift 50 pounds Must have a flexible schedule including the ability to work on holidays A great attitude, an eagerness to learn, and passion for pastry Cake Decorating Responsibilities: Produce all dessert items, including plated dessert components, cakes, and pastries, on a daily basis Follow directions and recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality Assist in maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness Check pars and quality of ingredients on a daily basis Fulfill orders for delivery given by pastry sous chef or executive pastry chef Perform delivery check-ins to ensure accuracy and quality Attend certain outside events and programs as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr etta
