Purchasing Assistant Entry Level

Entry Level Purchasing Assistant
Bayonet Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning has an opening for an Entry Level Purchasing Assistant at our New Port Richey location. This is an in office position.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Creating and tracking purchase orders.
- Data entry.
- Scanning documents.
- Receiving invoices.
- Intercompany transfers.
- Calling vendors for quotes, stock orders, or billing questions.
- Creating and organizing job files.
- Filing.
- You will be cross trained with other departments as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience with receiving and recording deliveries.
- Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and professionally over the telephone, face to face and in written communications such as e-mails.
- Knowledge of how to use a computer and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous and willing to follow instructions exactly as they are given.
- Team player, and willing to help out others when needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced workplace with tight deadlines.
- Comfortable sitting behind a desk.
- Accounting experience a plus.
