Company Description Medical Vein Clinic® is a specialized vascular practice treating vein, artery, and lymphatic diseases at two locations in the San Antonio, Texas area: Stone Oak and Northwest San Antonio. The clinic provides in-office treatment for conditions such as varicose veins, spider veins, chronic venous insufficiency, lymphedema, lipedema, peripheral artery disease, pelvic venous disorder, deep vein thrombosis, and chronic knee pain (GAE), with most services covered by insurance. The team includes board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular experts, including physicians with DABVLM, RPVI, RVT, and CLT-LANA credentials. Every patient receives a diagnostic ultrasound before treatment, and the clinic has cared for thousands of individuals since opening in 2017. Role Description This full-time Medical Provider role is an on-site position based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area, serving patients at one or both Medical Vein Clinic® locations. The Medical Provider will perform comprehensive patient evaluations, review medical histories, interpret diagnostic ultrasounds and other vascular studies, and develop individualized treatment plans for vein, artery, and lymphatic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing or overseeing procedures within scope of practice, monitoring patient progress, documenting care in the medical record, and collaborating with physicians, sonographers, and lymphedema specialists to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role also involves educating patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies, as well as coordinating follow-up visits and working closely with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations. Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine, with experience managing vascular or related conditions within an outpatient or specialty clinic setting. Relevant expertise or exposure in Cardiology and Neurology as they relate to vascular disease, circulation, and neurologic symptoms associated with venous and arterial disorders. Experience in Orthopedic Surgery or musculoskeletal care, particularly in evaluating and treating conditions such as chronic knee pain that may overlap with vascular issues. Demonstrated proficiency in Treatment planning and execution, including diagnostic assessment, procedure performance within scope, and longitudinal patient management. Advanced degree such as MD, DO, NP, or PA with current, unrestricted state license and appropriate board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine, vascular surgery, cardiology). Experience interpreting or collaborating on vascular imaging (e.g., ultrasound), and comfort working in a high-volume clinical environment.
