ESL Instructor

Department English Language Program-OPS Compensation $30.00 hourly Responsibilities The central task of ELP instructors is to provide quality English language instruction to our students in different subject areas (reading/writing, listening/speaking/vocabulary, and grammar) and at different levels (beginning to advanced). Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in English education or a related field (e.g., Applied Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, etc.) plus experience teaching English as a second language in higher education and/or experience teaching English abroad. A Master's Degree in TESOL or a related field is preferred. Statement(s) of Understanding This position requires a background check and may also require a credit check.
