Responsibilities Contribute to the design, documentation, and modification of electrical systems and assemblies. Support system integration and performance testing. Assist with troubleshooting system issues in collaboration with senior engineers. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and field service teams. Participate in developing testing procedures, configuration control documentation, and system specifications. Aid in developing or modifying control system software or test scripts. Support field installation or commissioning activities as needed. Learn and apply engineering principles related to RF systems, high‑voltage systems, and accelerator technologies through structured mentorship. Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 2–5 years of professional electrical engineering experience. Strong understanding of analog and/or digital electronics fundamentals. Experience with standard electrical test equipment. Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Experience in PCB tools, SPICE, automation tools, or vacuum/accelerator systems is a plus. Willingness to learn RF, high‑voltage, and accelerator technologies. Physical Requirements Ability to use test tools; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.; work in confined spaces or on elevated platforms; travel occasionally; manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed tasks; normal color vision required. Pay Range (California) Estimated salary range: $125,000 – $135,000, determined based on experience and other factors.
