Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,058 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a Travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Joplin, Missouri. The start date is immediate and the position requires a full 40‑hour work week on 8‑hour days. Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Essential Work Functions Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions. Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders. Maintain equipment and sterilize the procedure room. Evaluate images for quality and present preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team. Inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions. Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. Required Qualifications One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification. Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency with PC skills. Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, handle equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skill to work effectively with a variety of personnel and maintain a positive attitude. Technical/motor skill to perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move around during procedures. Mental endurance to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, manage irregular schedules, and maintain focus on detail. Sensory requirement for visual acuity and effective communication.
