Make a meaningful impact as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired in a dynamic, supportive school community near Tavares, FL. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for travel professionals seeking valuable experience in a rewarding K-12 setting. You’ll provide both direct and consultative services across an itinerant schedule, supporting 15–20 students with diverse needs at up to 13 different schools (2–3 sites per day). The main district office serves as your home base, offering convenience and consistency throughout your assignment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Professional Florida TVI License required
• OMS Certification required
• School-based experience strongly preferred (but not required)
• Ability to serve K-12 students
• Comfortable traveling between campuses as assigned
• Strong collaborative and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and consultative services to visually impaired students
• Manage a caseload of 15–20 students, providing support as needed across grade levels
• Travel to multiple schools within the district each week, with flexibility in scheduling
• Document and report on student progress, adhering to district policies
• Collaborate with faculty and families to ensure an inclusive educational experience
