Role Description The Compliance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH, responsible for overseeing regulatory and internal policy adherence across fleet and logistics operations. Day-to-day, this position monitors compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures, and updates policies as laws and guidelines change. The role involves conducting regular audits and inspections, reviewing documentation and records, and identifying areas of risk or non-compliance. The Compliance Manager collaborates with operations, safety, and HR teams to implement corrective actions, provide training, and ensure consistent alignment with legal and industry requirements. This position also prepares compliance reports for leadership, supports incident investigations, and recommends process improvements to strengthen governance and reduce operational risk. Qualifications Strong knowledge of transportation, fleet, and logistics regulations, including safety and compliance standards. Experience with policy development, internal controls, and risk management processes. Proficiency in compliance auditing, documentation review, and reporting. Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Prior experience in a compliance, safety, or regulatory role within transportation, logistics, or a related industry is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business, law, compliance, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
