How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Provide and document therapy interventions under a plan of care written by an evaluating therapist. Update and progress patient care through communication with supervising therapists.
• Coordinate with medical staff to prioritize caseload and determine patient care needs.
• Instruct patient/family/caregivers in the use of therapy and compensatory rehabilitation in relation to their diagnosis.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
