About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Analytics and Data Science to take on a pivotal, player-coach role at the intersection of product, growth, and data science. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and leading the core growth and subscription metrics, running the experimentation program, and owning the product analytics strategy. This includes managing a team of data scientists, setting the analytics roadmap, and acting as the primary data partner for key business decisions. The role also involves building AI-powered self-service analytics tools and partnering with data engineering to ensure the reliability and trustworthiness of the underlying data pipeline. Applicants for the Head of Analytics and Data Science position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in data and analytics roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity. A strong grasp of subscription and mobile metrics, experience in mobile UA attribution, and a proven track record in designing and running experimentation programs are essential. The role requires a candidate with product analytics experience, including event instrumentation and governance, and the ability to work with dbt/SQL. Sharp business partnering skills, hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools, and a background in consumer subscription apps are also highly valued. The ideal candidate will be adept at plain-language communication, confident in pushing back, and have a deep understanding of attribution and data modeling.
