Shuttle Bus DriverJohn Knox Village of Florida is seeking a friendly, safety-focused Shuttle Bus Driver to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact every day by ensuring residents travel comfortably, safely, and with exceptional customer service.John Knox Village is a not-for-profit Life Plan Retirement Community offering independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care to more than 1,000 residents. Our scenic 70-acre campus in Pompano Beach is conveniently located near major highways and transportation options.As a Shuttle Bus Driver, your primary responsibility is the safety and comfort of each passenger. You will assist residents in and out of the vehicle, secure seat belts, and provide warm, courteous service throughout every trip. You'll anticipate individual needs, communicate clearly, and ensure each transportation experience is positive and supportive.You will strictly observe all traffic laws, maintain a spotless vehicle interior and exterior, and uphold the high service standards that define John Knox Village.What We're Looking For:CDL license with passenger endorsementSafe driving record3+ years of passenger driving experienceExperience transporting passengers in wheelchairsOutstanding communication skillsAbility to read, write, and speak in EnglishExemplary customer service skillsJob Responsibilities:Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengersAssist residents entering and exiting the vehicleSecure seat belts and mobility devices as neededProvide friendly, courteous, and attentive serviceFollow all traffic laws and safety regulationsMaintain a clean, well-kept vehicle interior and exteriorAnticipate and respond to resident needs during transportSupport a positive, resident-centered environmentPerform other duties as assignedTake the leap into an exciting career where your contributions matter.Additional Requirements:This position is subject to Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law.
