As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping student success and fostering growth within an educational setting. Working approximately 37.5 hours each week, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic school team to provide direct services, evaluations, and support to a diverse student caseload.

Your expertise will be highly valued as you assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, adapting interventions to meet individualized education plans (IEPs). Flexibility is key, as the specific number of schools, grade levels, and caseload details will be determined prior to your start.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility in Illinois, along with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status
• Familiarity with school-based therapy and a range of communication disorders across various age groups
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Proficiency in developing IEPs, documenting progress, and delivering evidence-based interventions
• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices is a plus
