CT Technologist (CT) Portland, OR
A CT Technologist position is available in Portland, Oregon, supporting diagnostic imaging across multiple patient care areas. This role requires performing CT imaging and related procedures while following radiation safety and infection control practices. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts; Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 08:00 AM08:30 PM, for a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • License/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R
    • Education: Not specified
    • Location: Portland, Oregon
    • Experience: 1 year of experience
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Epic charting system experience
  • Responsibilities:
    • Perform CT imaging using techniques and workflows that align with adult acute care and outpatient needs
    • Follow infection control and Isolation Precautions/PPE procedures during patient care
    • Apply radiation safety principles and support preparation and/or administration of contrast media
    • Produce and manage CT imaging related to required skill areas (including 3D rendering methods such as maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering)
    • Support clinical care across settings such as Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), as applicable
    • Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate/sister facilities as needed
  • Additional Information:
    • Candidates must be prepared to float to nearby affiliate/sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
    • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)
    • Candidates must submit required materials up-front during the submission process
