$65,000~$110,000 per year

Requirements

• Dentrix

Current, active Massachusetts license to practice dental hygiene (or soon to be licensed/recent graduate actively progressing toward licensure)
Strong communication skills and ability to connect with patients of all ages
Commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality dental care
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Experience with Dentrix software preferred but not mandatory

Job Description

Ensure patient comfort before and throughout appointments by establishing a welcoming and reassuring environment.
Conduct initial oral screenings, reviewing oral and medical health histories to assess patient needs.
Identify and document conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis.
Perform professional dental cleanings and apply protective treatments like fluoride.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques tailored to their personal needs.
Take digital dental X-rays and scans to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate with dentists to recommend appropriate treatment options when necessary.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments adhering to infection control standards.
Accurately maintain patient documentation and charting within Dentrix or similar dental software.

Shift & Schedule

Typical 8-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday and Friday mornings)
Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Tuesday: 7 AM – 6 PM
Wednesday: 7 AM – 6 PM
Thursday: 7 AM – 6 PM
Friday: 7 AM – 1:30 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
