In this armed post, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, observing visitor traffic, and following site‑specific protocols for restricted or after‑hours areas. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location while preparing detailed incident, activity, and/or patrol reports and assisting with security‑related concerns raised by occupants or guests. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
