Registered Nurse Endoscopy/GI

$2325.60/week -

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy/GI specialty provides high-quality patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director. The RN collaborates with the Clinical Leader and performs clinical duties in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies to support patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care and monitor vital signs during procedures and recovery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to established protocols for infection control, safety, and equipment handling.
  
  
• 
  Provide patient education and support before and after procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist with preparing and positioning patients for endoscopic and GI procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Maine RN license or a compact license.
  
  
• 
  Possess an ASN with preference for BSN.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and IV certification.
  
  
• 
  Have 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in endoscopy or GI.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills.
