Enterprise Account Manager, Energy

Bentley Systems has the ideal opportunity for an Account Manager, who will develop and execute campaigns for generating and driving new business within existing accounts, as well as maintaining and developing relationships focused on the Energy industry. This role will work in conjunction with other Account Managers specifically dedicated to positioning Bentley's solutions to Energy infrastructure owner operators across North America. Bentley's Energy solutions are a complete portfolio of integrated software and services advancing digital transformation from preliminary design through to asset management. These tools leverage a connected data environment to support interoperability and information management across energy networks to drive efficiency, collaboration, and productivity.

Responsibilities: As an Account Manager you are responsible for selling Bentley solutions enabling owner/operators to embrace the era of digital transformation with software applications that help streamline the design, planning, and operating processes for network and asset infrastructure as well as enterprise-level commercial offerings in North America. In this role you will be focused on leveraging the Bentley Sales Process to deliver outstanding results, value and outcomes to your users. Create effective business plans to expand use of Bentley's portfolio within your assigned region. Prospect for new business opportunities and drive sales through positive outcomes to exceed quota. Develop relationships at various levels including C-Level, VP's and Directors within assigned and targeted accounts through use of direct sales techniques and conduct on-site meetings. Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following sales process and managing all opportunities in CRM. Adhere to the Bentley Sales Process fully utilizing SAP Cloud for Sales (C4S) as a daily sales tool and reporting system. Promote Bentley's value proposition to designers, engineers, contractors and owners to help the customer's meet or exceed their business objectives. Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Commercial Offerings and Software Support Policies. High level use and comfort utilizing social media and prospecting intelligence resources. Negotiate sales and/or service agreements. Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services. Travel to user sites up to 50% of the time may be required. This is a full-time individual contributor role, which involves significant collaboration and coordination with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions. Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.

Qualifications: 5+ years' proven experience in selling software solutions into the Engineering and utility infrastructure segments Knowledge of ECM solutions and BIM are required and ideally with a background in Energy Proficiency with company products portfolio at a business level Demonstrated ability to work on a team of technical, marketing and sales personnel Background in direct communication and account-based marketing approaches to generate pipeline A passion for hitting targets Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
