Job Description
Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse permanent placement opportunity working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role focuses on providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum. The RN will serve as a clinical leader during the shift, coordinating care, supervising team members, and ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes. The position offers shift differentials and potential sign-on or relocation incentives, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience

Active Illinois RN license required

ADN required

NRP certification required (within 1 year if not current)

BLS or CPR certification required (within 90 days)

ACLS certification preferred (within 90 days)

Strong knowledge of maternal/newborn care and labor & delivery procedures

Ability to lead and supervise a healthcare team

Must reside outside 50-mile radius (no local candidates accepted)
