Job Title: Mental Health Therapist
Profession: Mental Health Therapy

Shift: Days - could be 1st or 2nd shift
Hours per Shift: 8 hours
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable job position
License: Must possess appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs, e.g., LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
Certifications: Must hold a BLS certification
Must-Have: Candidates must have a MN LICSW or LPC. 40 hours/week guaranteed, but candidates must still have open availability for scheduling as needed per the client scheduling policy. U.S. citizenship required for clearance. Candidates will be subject to thorough background and credit investigation for clearance.
Description:
The successful candidate should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with job performance requirements.
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews.
Provide treatment to individuals by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on an evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities used for individuals in the caseload.
Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address individuals' needs.
