What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN services including routine delivery, low-forceps vaginal deliveries, and decision-making for C-sections
• Manage complicated deliveries such as breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform cesarean sections and assist with VBACs
• Repair third and fourth-degree perineal lacerations
• Collaborate with midwives for on-call deliveries and patient care
• Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in call coverage, ensuring round-the-clock support

What You Need

• Kentucky medical license (or willing to obtain)
• Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Board Certified or Board Eligible)
• Proven experience in inpatient OB/GYN procedures, especially deliveries and C-sections
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage obstetric emergencies
• Ability to work independently in a hospital-based setting

Preferred:

• Experience working with midwives and in Level II nursery environments
