Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk who will be responsible for running daily shipping and receiving operations. The role involves monitoring the shipping queue using M2M, printing pack lists, assigning orders to team members for picking and packing, and organizing freight shipments. A key part of this role is to act as a backup to our lead person in the area, ensuring seamless operations.

1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm

$22/hr

Must have forklift experience - standup

International shipping

Responsibilities

• Run daily shipping and receiving processes.

• Monitor the shipping queue in M2M and print pack lists.

• Assign orders to the team for picking and packing.

• Organize freight shipments efficiently.

• Utilize UPS/FedEx shipping systems.

• Maintain good communication and computer skills.

• Support the lead person in the shipping and receiving area.

Essential Skills

• Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping systems.

• Good computer skills.

• Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with forklift operation.

• Experience with SAP, FedEx Ship Manager, and UPS WorldShip.

• Understanding of Bill of Lading and Customs Documents.

• Knowledge of wire gauges (AWG) and wire harness fabrication components.

• Ability to read assembly instructions, engineering drawings, or BOM notes.

• Proficiency in using hand crimpers for wire and harness creation.

• Experience assembling electronics subassemblies.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work area.

• Ability to meet efficiency and quality standards regularly.

• Adherence to safety policies and requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
