Data Center Technician: Hands-on Server & Rack Expert

Responsibilities To provide End to End Hands and Feet support. Install and maintain servers and network devices and other data center equipment Racking, stacking, and cabling of network devices, servers and blade enclosures and other data center appliances Replacement of parts like power supplies, switch modules, replacement of blade in chassis Assist with hardware troubleshooting Support data center management teams located remotely with maintenance activities by providing hands and feet support Experience with consoles, KVM, Remote Site gateways etc. Prepare and maintain data center inventory Create and maintain rack elevation diagrams Escort and assist third party engineers coming into the data center Experience in using ticketing systems Daily walk through and reporting on any abnormalities observed.
