Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (RN ED) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 12-hour shifts from 07:30 PM to 07:00 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (RN ED) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility and the ability to respond to emergency situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and provide support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active nursing license verification.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Additional health history documentation including COVID-19 vaccination, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, TB test, and Tdap.
• Driver's license/state ID for identification purposes.
